What to expect

This ride takes you on a magical 3.5-mile trail, making three stops along the way. Our first stop is at Bethesda Fountain, where you can see the magnificent architecture of the Bethesda Terrace Tunnel and the lake. Halfway through the ride, we stop at Cherry Hill/Friends Fountain, followed by a stop at Strawberry Field/John Lennon Memorial.

If you want to make a unique and special proposal or celebrate an anniversary, this ride is ideal. We give you a ride along magnificent parts of the park or city (for the city tour, book after 11 p.m.), and make a stop so you can propose or celebrate your special occasion. We either let you choose the location where we stop or, if you like, we decide where to stop for you!

Each carriage holds four adults — two children under the age of 7 are considered one adult. If you have more than four adults or any combination of adults and children in your party, simply add another carriage to your order!
